Casual Lunchtime Supervisor

(Scale 1A2 Point 2 - £16.56 per hour plus RHP)

5 hours per week

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 12:40pm – 1:40pm

Wednesdays 1:15pm – 2:15pm

Term Time Only

Required from September 2026

We are looking for Lunchtime Supervisors with prior experience of working in Secondary Schools to join our team. You will be required to:

  • Be able to manage student behaviour effectively

  • Relate to students positively, sensitively and with patience

  • Be an excellent communicator

  • Have good command of the English language

  • Work well as part of a team

Oaklands is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form situated in East London. It is a community state school as well as a NSS (National Support School] that provides support to other schools. A smaller than average secondary school, it will provide 850 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 11-18, when fully subscribed.

With over 20 years’ worth of educational success, Oaklands has been a specialist school for science since 2003 and became a specialist modern foreign language school in 2008.
