CATE Teaching Assistant

WPES is a KS1 to KS5 Pupil Referral Service responsible for the education of students permanently excluded from school, as well as students who have special educational and medical needs, preventing them from attending mainstream school.

The Service is based on 5 sites and is committed to high standards of teaching and learning for all

We are seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants, to join our existing close knit team at the above Centre, who will be able to support students with SEN, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).

Previous experience is essential of working with students in a supporting role.

Candidates will be able to inspire and motivate our students to get the very best meaningful outcomes and show a commitment to raising the achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people
