We are seeking someone who will understand the importance and take pride in ensuring that our students are offered a healthy and well-balanced meal in a welcoming, friendly and hygienic environment. Someone who will share in the achievements of our students and celebrate their success.

Experience of working within a facility where flexibility is commonplace or being able to demonstrate these skills is essential. An enjoyment of providing food, some basic knowledge of basic food preparation and the willingness to learn will be welcomed.

An introduction to Autism and our students will be provided, together with Safeguarding and General Data Protection Regulations training.

Corley Academy is a special secondary school for children with complex communication and interaction difficulties, part of Thrive Education Parthership. A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis.  Students bring a range of abilities and aspirations, special educational needs, vulnerabilities, challenges and behaviours.  Student attainment covers the full National Curriculum and GCSE/vocational range.
