Grade: A1 (SCP 8) (£15,246 pro rata) (£7.90 hourly) 

Actual salary: £3,508

Hours: 10 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days

Monday – Friday from 12.45pm to 2.45pm (2 hours daily) 

Permanent position.

Applicants will ideally have a basic food hygiene certificate and previous experience in the catering industry. Duties will include the preparation and serving of food, on occasion handling small amounts of money, and also the use of a biometric system. A certain amount of cleaning will also be involved.

Flexibility may be required in the event of the Academy being open outside of normal hours.

The successful applicant will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.

Bruntcliffe Academy is an increasingly popular 11-16 comprehensive school with approximately 1000 students on roll. The school is situated in Morley which is on the outskirts of the thriving city of Leeds, with a very good motorway access to all areas of the north of England and beyond.

The school joined the highly successful GORSE Academies Trust which has a national reputation for its excellence in 2015.
