Starting as soon as possible, we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring candidate with a real passion for working with young people.
Historic Ripon may be the third smallest city in Britain, but its home to one of the country’s best performing academies. In our January 2016 Ofsted inspection, we were judged outstanding in all areas. Ofsted recognise that ‘Outstanding teaching is at the root of students’ excellent achievement’ and ‘the excellent behaviour of students contributes to an outstanding climate for learning’.
We are looking to appoint a dynamic, flexible and hard-working individual to our catering team. As a Catering Assistant you are required to carry out all catering duties to ensure that the students receive the best possible food service, you are expected to work individually and as part of a team. Full training will be provided to you and you are required to ensure all food safety, allergy and health and safety guidelines are adhered to.

We aim to promote the highest standards of academic achievement through inspiring teaching and learning, with a curriculum designed to stretch and enrich our students’ experience. Our success speaks for itself as we are above the national average for the number of students achieving at a Grade 5 or above in English & maths GCSEs, and we have won numerous awards as a school including the Carnegie Mental Health Silver Award, Anti-Bullying Alliance Bronze Award and being accredited with the prestigious IQM Centre of Excellence status, which highlights that inclusion at all levels is of paramount importance to us
