Catering Assistant

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team here at The Wells Academy!

Joining our dedicated catering team, you will:

• Assist with the preparation of meals
• Provide a friendly and efficient service to all staff and pupils
• Ensure that our catering services are of the highest possible standard

To be successful, you will:  

• Have excellent hygiene and health & safety practices 
• Show good organisation and communication skills 
• Have experience in preparing and serving food, with school kitchen knowledge being desirable  
• Hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
• Ideally hold a Level 2 Diploma in Kitchen Services and have knowledge of HACCP  

Salary: £8,100 actual

Contract: Permanent, 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
