5 Days a Week - Term Time only,

27 ½ hours 9.00am to 3.00pm with a half hour lunch break

We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our busy team preparing and serving freshly prepared healthy, nutritious school meals.

Our Catering Assistant works term time, during school hours. You will work as part of

our catering team skilled in transforming fresh, seasonal ingredients into nutritious

home-cooked meals that support healthier lifestyles to enable our pupils to perform at

their best throughout the school day.

You should have a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and we have plenty of

opportunities for you to learn and progress further. You’ll need to enjoy being part of a

team, serving lunch on time is essential, so you must be able to cope in a busy

environment. If you have experience of working in a catering environment that would

be an advantage, but it’s not essential.

home cooked school meals each day.

Up to 1 years’ experience working in kitchen is desirable, preferably at a school, and good
