The Governing Body are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our team as soon as possible. You will need to be an enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible individual. The post will be 21.25 hours (9.45 - 2pm), Monday - Friday, 38.4 weeks per year (term time)
Grade 1 - £22,183 pro-rata (Actual Salary £11,195 per annum)

The school sits at the heart of an established, close-knit yet growing community and provides education from 4 to 11. Membership of the Academy Trust provides a range of opportunities for partnership working and continuing professional development with an outstanding secondary school and a network of primary schools within the locality. We are all working together to establish really effective practice for the benefit of every child.
Job Description:
- To work as part of a team providing a catering service to the school
- Serving food
- Washing up kitchen equipment
- Cleaning of all work and eating areas including setting out and putting away dining furniture
- Supervision of all areas where children are present
- Assistance with clearing trays, plates from tables, wiping spillages as and when they occur
- Clean trays and take used plates to the kitchen for washing. Refill water jugs for children during the lunch period.
- Any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the grade and role
