About The Role
We are a looking to recruit an outstanding Chef Manager to prepare, cook and present food to the highest possible standards, working with pre-agreed budgetary targets. The Chef will supervise kitchen staff, assist in the planning of menus, and ensure that an excellent standard of academy dining is maintained at all times.
In recruiting our next Chef Manager, we are seeking the following from applicants:
- Have a genuine passion for fresh, home cooked food and the education of pupils in healthy eating.
- Have the ability to train and inspire with a hands-on leadership style
- Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Be financially astute and able to build relationships with suppliers and achieve value for money
- Have a genuine passion to deliver nutritionally creative food within a set budget.
- Have a progressive career to date
- Have a good Health & Safety knowledge

About Ark Elvin Academy
Ark Elvin is an eight-form secondary school in Wembley, north-west London.
We recently moved into our new, bright and airy building, which features a new library and a dining hall opening onto a courtyard, along with modern classrooms, a 5 court sports hall and a sixth form common room and study space. Outside, staff and students benefit from a new all-weather pitch for sports like football, hockey, rugby and cricket and a multi-use games area for sports like basketball, netball and mini-tennis.
