Catering Manager

We require a Catering Manager to head our present team of three dedicated kitchen staff.

Salary information: Scale 5, £21,593 - £22,781 per annum
Working hours: 36 hours per week, (term time only + training days)
Start Date: ASAP

Meadow High School provides education for secondary aged students aged 11 - 19 years with moderate and complex needs including challenging behavior and autism.  The school has received a good OFSTED report for the quality of teaching it provides and we are very excited to be moving into our new school building soon.

Applicants should have:  

• Level 3 Award in Food Safety Supervision for  Catering or equivalent 
• Previous catering/cooking experience
• Ability to lead a team
• Ability to plan and order healthy menus
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work well on your own and as part of a team 
• A positive attitude and sense of humour
• Be willing to learn new skills
