Job overview
We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Catering Manager, eager to make a positive contribution to our thriving academy.
The successful candidate will be experienced and highly professional and will value working as part of a busy and effective team. We are particularly looking for someone who feels able to take our catering service into the next stage of its development, with creative menus that provide learners with healthy nutritious food that they will enjoy eating.
This is a term time only position, with additional weeks to be worked during school holidays by negotiation for which additional payment will be made.
Hours to be negotiated, but will be between 6:30am–3:00pm Monday to Friday.

About The JCB Academy
The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education.
Since opening we have been consistently successful - our Ofsted inspection in September 2018 recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping learners safe and secure.
Learner numbers are growing and we have been oversubscribed every year. Currently we cater for approximately 700 full time learners aged 13-19 as well as approximately 300 learners aged 16+ following apprenticeships.
The academy is located in Rocester, Staffordshire in an adapted and renovated mill, built by the famous industrial entrepreneur and engineer, Richard Arkwright, in the late 18th century.
