Job overview

Catholic Senior Executive Leader

Salary: L29 – L34 £91,953 to £102,894 (pro-rata)

Contract type: Part Time – 4 days per week with possibility of full time in the future

Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy Trust was established in April 2015 and currently comprises six Catholic primary schools in Newham, East London (the Trust). Each school within the Trust maintains its uniqueness and its own local governing body, but we share expertise and to support the children in our care.

Trustees seek to appoint an experienced and dynamic professional to oversee the Trust’s continued expansion throughout the borough of Newham within the next few years.

The Trust is looking for an inspirational strategic leader who is able to develop and articulate the vision, values and ethos of the Trust to ensure a culture of excellence and high expectations where children and young people are given a clear vision for life; a vision which is rooted in the person and teachings of Jesus Christ and which is faithful to the mission of the Catholic Church.

In promoting a new educational philosophy for multi-academy trusts we have an ambition to champion the principles of working together as equal partners, collaborating rather than competing, and achieving the highest standards for our children. This unique and exciting position will require you to lead a dedicated headship team to work in partnership across all trust schools.

We value our staff, treasuring their dedication and care for their pupils, and wish to be equal to their aspirations. You will be able to demonstrate experience in fostering professional development for all staff.

As the Catholic Schools’ Executive Leader you will be responsible for the performance of all the schools within the Trust, instilling the vision and ethos of the Trust throughout the organisation. Already an experienced leader with a track record of success, you will bring expertise in change management and partnership working. Most importantly, you will have a passion for education and children’s learning, with the determination to make a positive difference and commitment to continuous improvement.

This position represents an outstanding opportunity for a practising Catholic leader to make a positive impact on our schools and communities.
