CCF Lead/ DofE Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a CCF Lead/ DofE Coordinator. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people by facilitating CCF training as well as coordinating our Duke of Edinburgh Programme.

About the Role and You

Contract type: Full-time, permanent, all year round

Salary: Dependent on experience

As CCF Lead/ DofE Coordinator your principal role is to organise and deliver military and adventure training to the CCF. This role is central to the smooth and efficient running of the Contingent and the development of the leadership potential of Cadets.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out instruction and training.
• Plan and deliver military and adventurous instruction and training to CCF Staff and Cadets, including mandatory safety tests.
• Assist with training camps.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes to young people in the DofE group.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who has:

• A category D1 license, or a willingness to undertake training to fulfil the requirements.
• Experience working with young people from 11 to 18 years old.
• The ability to be a strong and positive role model.
• Held senior rank in the Armed Forces (Regular Reserve or Army Cadet) – SNCO or Warrant Officer status (desirable).
• Experience of running DofE and CCF programmes.
