Job overview

Acorn Education Trust currently comprises two nurseries, fourteen primary and three secondary schools all based in Wiltshire. Due to current expansion, Acorn Education Trust is looking for a Central Finance Administrator to support the central finance team. As Central Finance Administrator you will work across the Trust to support schools and central services.


Working hours: 25-30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks).

Please note: This role will primarily be based at Clarendon Academy, with the option to work remotely for 2-3 days per week once settled in the role. Base school is negotiable for the right candidate (and could be based at a setting in Warminster or Durrington).


We would like to hear from you if you:

  • Have a minimum grade C in English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • Have an accounting qualification and/or experience in a similar role
  • Have sound ICT skills, including Excel and Word
  • Are self-motivated, dedicated and consistent
  • Are a strong communicator, both written and orally
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Are calm and approachable when working under pressure
  • Work well as an individual or as part of a team
