Centre Manager

Salary: Grade 6 Point 18 £20,734

 (Inclusive of London Weighting and Ealing Supplement)

Please note that this role will be based in initially at Dormers Wells High School and will move to Caretakers Cottage on the site of Dormers Wells Primary School once the centre is opened.

All Year Round, three days per week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 12.30 to 20.00 with an unpaid thirty minute break.

Are you highly motivated, enthusiastic, and looking for an exciting role as a Centre Manager? We have a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop a new mental wellbeing support centre, which is in the process of being refurbished to accommodate this valuable service.

Dormers Wells Learning Trust encompasses both Dormers Wells High School and Dormers Wells Primary School, two mixed, multi-cultural academies. We have high expectations for the achievement of all of our students at Dormers Wells Learning Trust and our ethos underpins all that we do.

A new and vanguard mental health support partnership working with children aged 5-12 in Southall. The key aims of the project are to provide accessible, appropriate and sustainable mental health support for children and families with a particular focus upon early intervention and support. The service will adopt a culturally sensitive approach to providing those services to diverse local communities where we have made a commitment to work together to develop long term partnership and collaboration. We intend to do this by providing holistic mental health support to children and families that builds their skills, confidence and civic engagement. 

The successful candidate will:

·     Be able to communicate effectively and accurately both orally and in writing to children, parents / carers and other external agencies

·      Be welcoming and professional when managing the centre

·     Be flexible and hardworking and able to work under pressure

·     Be able to follow Trust procedures and use their own initiative as required and be a good team player

·     Have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
