Chair of Trustees

The Radcliffe Academy Trust is recruiting a Chair of Trustees.

This role is more than just chairing a meeting. This voluntary role involves providing visionary strategic non-executive leadership to the academy trust.

The chair is responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of the trust board. The role has responsibility to give the trust board clear leadership and direction, keeping it focused on the three core functions; vision and strategic direction, holding the Senior Leadership Team to account for educational and staff performance & overseeing the financial performance of the trust and that money is well spent appropriately.

It’s an exciting time to be joining the Trust Board - as the vision is renewed and refreshed and the long term strategy and plans are pulled together and implemented.

You can find out more about the Radcliffe Academy Trust on the Meadowbrook College website at www.meadowbrook.oxon.sch.uk

Located across four sites in Oxfordshire: Oxford, Banbury, Kidlington and Abingdon, we are an Alternative Provision (AP) Academy that provides full and part-time education and support to over 150 aged 5-16 students who are excluded from, or are finding it difficult to fully access, their mainstream schools.

We offer all our students another chance and provide a high quality, safe learning environment in which to help them develop the positive behaviours and skills which they can use to improve their life chances. We work hard to ensure our young people achieve the best outcomes by creating individual educational packages which meet their needs and equip them for their next destination.
