Woodstock is an international, non-profit, co-educational, residential school located in the foothills of the Himalaya, in Landour, a hill station contiguous with the town of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, India. The life and values of the school are firmly based on the teaching of Christ and our founding Christian tradition.

Situated at 2,500 meters above sea-level, Woodstock is the oldest international school in Asia. From a location high above the Ganges and Yamuna Rivers the panorama stretches to snow-covered ranges whose peaks rise to more than 6,500 meters, touching India's northern border with Tibet. Proudly rooted in its Indian context, Woodstock is a gateway for international students to the rich heritage of India’s past and the incredible diversity and opportunity of its present.

Woodstock School offers education to students of 23 nationalities from Kindergarten through Grade 12 and is fully accredited by the Middle States Association (MSA), being the first school in Asia to receive MSA accreditation in 1957. A broad, balanced and rigorous international curriculum, spanning the Sciences, the Arts and the Humanities, draws from the very best of the British, American and international education systems. The school offers a fully accredited American high school diploma. Students are prepared for examinations deliberately designed to support their successful application to caliber universities and colleges anywhere in the world and within India.

Woodstock has long prided itself in giving opportunity for its students to “develop a profound sense of self; healthy interpersonal relationships; become equipped to survive and thrive in the 21st century, and; develop as citizens of the world” as outlined in the learning outcomes statement of the school. Woodstock’s education, according to its current Principal, Dr. Jonathan Long, is "deliberately holistic allowing young people to encounter experiences across an enormous range of dimensions."
