Chaplain: Pastoral and Spiritual Guidance Coordinator

2.5 days per week

Up to £26,000 per annum (pro rata to 42 hours)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an excellent, dedicated and supportive team here at Treloar’s.  We are seeking to appoint a Pastoral and Spiritual Guidance Coordinator who will be responsible for providing pastoral and spiritual guidance for staff, students and their families as appropriate.

The post holder will be required to provide pastoral and spiritual guidance to students of all denominations and faiths, responding to both religious and spiritual need. You will also be required to support the planning and delivery of the RE curriculum and lead staff bereavement training.

It is essential for the candidate to hold a relevant degree e.g. Theological/Counselling. It is desirable for you to have experience of working with other professional bodies and an awareness of the roles of professionals in a clinical context. You must also be able to communicate in a clear way that is understandable to those with complex disabilities.
