We are looking to appoint an exceptional Chaplain to provide spiritual and pastoral support in this unique School. The School works in symbiosis with a remarkable Cathedral with which it is connected through history, governance and routine practice.
Applications are equally welcome from clergy ordained in the Anglican Communion or from lay people.
The Chaplain reflects and leads spirituality and worship in the community and is pastor and friend to all members of the School community: pupils, teachers and support staff.
Although the School has a Christian ethos, and attendance at regular Cathedral services is regarded as one of the essential components of our community life, the Chaplain should ensure that the spiritual needs of people belonging to other faith communities are considered.
It will be important for the Chaplain to be well known and prominent about the campus so they can get to know the many members of the community.
