We seek to appoint a Trust Chaplain to join Hope Sentamu Learning Trust, based in the first instance at Manor Church of England Academy. This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week on a term time only basis.

Manor has a proud history, having served the young people of York for over 210 year. We are a Church of England academy and our Christian values guide, influence and underpin all that we do. We are a member of the Hope Sentamu Learning Trust, a growing family of schools working together to transform education across York, Hull and North Yorkshire.
We are blessed to have state of the art facilities and supportive families, however our greatest assets are the over 1,100 young people enrolled with us and the 140 highly gifted teaching and support staff that work in our academy. Our aim is that all students and staff 'serve others, grow together and live life to the full'.
This role will lead and coordinate collective worship in our schools, providing pastoral support for students and staff and undertake outreach chaplaincy work across Trust sites as required. The post holder will also work in partnership with the local vicar and church to support enrichment activities with our wider schools , churches, parishes and communities.
