We are seeking to appoint a part-time Chaplaincy Administrator to join our team based at Worth School. 

The principal duties and responsibilities of the chaplaincy administrator are to enable the smooth running of day to day activities in the chaplaincy by providing administrative support to the Director of Mission, the Forerunners and Monastic chaplains.

As the Chaplaincy Administrator, you would be responsible for: 

  • Communication and engagement with pupils, parents and staff in regards to chaplaincy matters  
  • Sit on the Calendar Committee and manage the chaplaincy diary and rotas 
  • Oversee the hospitality budget and food ordering for events and weekly engagements  
  • Manage team expenses and reimbursement accordingly  
  • Manage purchase orders and stock levels in the chaplaincy  
  • Manage administration for confirmation candidates  
  • Organise retreat and trip administration  
  • Oversee House charity fundraising  
  • Write up and record minutes from meetings 
  • Organise Liturgy administration including readers and servers  
  • Maintaining the Forerunner website with up to date information  
  • Uphold all school rules as well as the codes of conduct as laid down in the Staff Handbook

What we are looking for: 

  • Ability to understand and adhere to Child Protection and Safeguarding legislation 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office  
  • Administrative experience 
  • A good understanding of the Christian faith (desirable) 
  • Experience of working in a school environment (desirable) 
  • Pastoral skills and experience for additional pastoral support for the Chaplaincy Team (desirable)
