The Nottingham Girls’ Academy requires an exceptional Chef Manager to lead the catering operation to deliver a first class food service to pupils.

Due to the retirement of the current post holder we now have this very exciting opportunity for an outstanding Chef Manager to join a friendly team of staff at our lovely academy in Aspley, Nottingham. 

To be successful you must:

· hold a certificate in Food Safety and an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in catering

· have experience of managing a kitchen, including knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation 

  • have high standard food preparation and service
  • be able to effectively lead,      
  • motivate and work as part of a large team
  • have great organisational skills and an understanding of financial procedures.

It is preferable that you have a background of working with volume catering and/or in schools although this is not essential. If you are innovative, hardworking, with the ability to motivate a team to consistently deliver a superior service we want to hear from you.

Working hours will be, Monday to Friday, term time plus one (39 weeks), this is reflected in the pro rata salary.
