The Stanground Academy requires an exceptional Chef Manager to lead the catering operation to deliver a first class food service to pupils.
We have this very exciting opportunity for an outstanding Chef Manager to join a friendly team of staff at our lovely academy in Peterborough.
To be successful you must:
· hold a certificate in Food Safety and an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in catering
· have experience of managing a kitchen, including knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
· have high standard food preparation and service
- be able to effectively lead, motivate and work as part of a large team
· have great organisational skills and an understanding of financial procedures.
It is preferable that you have a background of working with volume catering and/or in schools although this is not essential. If you are innovative, hardworking, with the ability to motivate a team to consistently deliver a superior service we want to hear from you.
This role is term time only (39 weeks), this is reflected in the pro rata salary.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.
