We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, capable and innovative Teacher of Science with a specialism in Chemistry to teach across the age and ability range.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a determination to improving student outcomes and be exceptionally motivated and committed to achieving the very highest standards.

Science is a thriving and popular subject at the heart of our Church of England School with all pupils studying at least Core and Additional Science until the end of KS4 and with many continuing to A Level in the Sixth Form.  Our most able pupils study Biology, Chemistry and Physics as separate subjects from Year 9.

Science is taught in a suite of well resourced, designated rooms.  Students follow the AQA syllabus for GCSE, and OCR for A Level Chemistry.

  • Science GCSE A* - C  66% 
  • Chemistry A Level – A* - E 100%
  • Biology A Level – A* - E 100%
  • Physics A Level – A* - E 100%

Trinitas Academy Trust is an exciting development combining three Church of England schools. Trinitas comprises of Trinity C of E Secondary School, Christ Church (Erith) C of E Primary School, and St Augustine of Canterbury C of E Primary School.  All three schools are working together in close partnership in order to provide the best opportunities for Children and Staff alike.

Trinity School is a successful, mixed Church of England academy in the London Borough of Bexley, with a record of steady academic improvement. The age range is 11-18 with NOR 1086 including a Sixth Form of 202. The school is a member of the Trinitas Academy Trust, a collaboration with two local Church of England primary schools.
