From September 2018 we are looking to appoint an outstanding Science teacher who is determined to make a difference and has a proven track record of success. We want to recruit the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or outstanding lessons and a TLR is available for an exceptional candidate who is interested in additional management responsibilities.
Science is taught from KS3 to KS5 with the individual specialisms being offered at KS4 and KS5 and, ideally, we are looking for someone who can teach Chemistry to KS5. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, capable of inspiring students through their passion for the subject, have a firm belief in the potential of all students and encourage all to ‘Aspire to Achieve’. The Faculty is led by an experienced leader who is well supported by a skilled, enthusiastic and talented team of dedicated science teachers and technicians. Science is fully equipped and classrooms have interactive whiteboards and generous curriculum resources.
Bushey Meads School is part of the growing Bushey St James Trust. We have strong links with local primary schools where good practice and ideas are shared across the Trust which provide excellent professional development opportunities. Transport links are good with the M1, M25, A1 and A41 being close by and local bus routes are only a short walk.
