Kilgraston is looking to appoint an experienced Chemistry Teacher.
Reporting to the Director of STEAM & Innovation, the Chemistry Teacher will work as part of the Science department team.
We are looking for a dynamic Teacher that is collaborative, creative, innovative, engaging and approachable to join our exceptional Science Department team. The post holder will play a significant part in assisting with future planning within the department as part of the team.
The Curriculum
Kilgraston offers the Scottish curriculum leading to National 5, Highers and Advanced Highers. The lower school curriculum is based on the Curriculum for Excellence but most departments would expect to teach beyond the outlined curriculum. The majority of girls take eight or nine National 5s and then go on to take four or five Highers in L6 (S5). In the U6 (S6) the girls will then take Advanced Higher/A Level or new subjects at Highers.

Introduction
Kilgraston is a leading independent boarding and day school can accommodate up to 300 pupils from 5 to 18 years. It is located in 54 acres of stunning parkland in Bridge of Earn, three miles from the centre of Perth. The school has an outstanding record of academic achievement.

The Campus
The Senior School classrooms, including the bespoke music rooms and fully updated ICT facilities, sit alongside the elegant Georgian mansion, which is at the heart of the campus. High standard boarding accommodation, interconnected to the main building, is provided for pupils from the age of 8 to 18, with a separate boarding house for sixth form. There are residential staff in each boarding area.
The most recent Care Inspectorate report praised the excellent standard of the pastoral care -
an achievement staff and pupils are rightly proud of.
