The Fallibroome Trust is a ten school multi-academy education trust working tirelessly for the children in its three secondary and seven primary Cheshire-based schools. Our core purpose is to create the conditions for our students to develop the skills,  knowledge and aptitudes to enable them to thrive as life-long learners in a complex world. We do this by delivering high quality teaching and learning with innovative approaches to curriculum design.

The Trust is looking for a new CEO for the next phase of its development following the retirement of our current leader. We are stable at 10 schools but evaluating organic growth to include a fourth secondary school.  We want to actively explore the educational and community benefits of creating cross-phase hubs around our family of schools in Macclesfield, Winsford and Congleton. 

We are looking for a strategic, pragmatic leader who can demonstrate the impact of their leadership on schools, pupils, parents, staff and communities. Evidence of your ability to lead, enable and empower those around you will be key to your success and the ongoing success of the Trust.

The Trust needs a CEO with a deep theoretical and practical knowledge of school improvement who will develop a clear blueprint for delivering school improvement. We are looking for candidates who can evidence the impact they have in their current setting, ideally with cross phase experience. 

Autonomy is fundamental to the Trust ethos. We want our schools to respond to the needs of their school community with local understanding and local knowledge, whilst sharing best practice. The CEO and leadership team strike an effective balance between autonomy and standardisation in all areas of Trust delivery and cultivate a spirit of generosity and mutual support. 

We have been a System Leader in key areas of national strategy and seek to strengthen our place in the education landscape with this appointment.  For instance: one of the Trust schools has recently been awarded Science Learning Partnership and Computing Hub status and another is a former Teaching School. The Trust is a Delivery Partner for the new ECF and NPQ programmes and we want to capitalise on the opportunities these bring to our students and staff.
