Job overview

Eynsham Partnership Academy

Chief Executive Officer

Start date: September 2019 or earlier if possible

Salary: L32 – L38 (£85,605 - £99,158) pro rata

Contract type: 0.8 FTE

Contract term: Permanent

Eynsham Partnership Academy is looking to recruit a permanent Chief Executive Officer (0.8 FTE) to lead the next stage of its development. The Trust is in the area of a new garden village within the Oxford-Cambridge Arc, with significant housing developments and a science park to be built over the next few years. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the local community, Oxfordshire County Council, and the Regional Schools Commissioner to help shape educational provision for the region including the potential to bid for additional primary schools and significant expansion of the secondary school.

Building on the MAT’s strong community ethos and excellent educational reputation, this is an opportunity for an inspirational leader with expertise at headship level to join us to lead the Trust as it moves forward. You will work with pupils, parents, staff, the Academy Board, the Regional Schools Commissioner and the local community to build and maintain our high standards of education, pastoral care and personal development. You will have a proven record of educational achievement and an understanding of the landscape of primary and secondary education. In addition, we want a leader who has an innovative and evidence-based approach that can continue to develop and deliver our strategy for the years ahead. Being able to develop a vision and work with local leadership and a range of stakeholders to deliver it will also be important.

We can offer you the opportunity to lead a MAT family of seven schools (one secondary and six primaries) dedicated to high academic achievement and developing well-rounded children.

Closing date:  Midday, Wednesday 13 March 2019

Interviews:  Tuesday 26 March and Wednesday 27 March 2019

Eynsham Partnership Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
