Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Contract type: Full-Time

Reporting to: Executive Lead of the Trust

Responsible for: MAT Central Services Team and Company Secretary

Salary: NJC PO9 point 48 £54,792.00 to PO11 point 57 £64,676.00

Pension Information: Merseyside Local Government Pension Scheme

Hours: 37 Hours per week, full time: 52 weeks per year (includes 6 weeks holiday)

About the role:

The CFO will support the Executive Lead of the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) Trust in the strategic development and operation of the LIPA Multi Academy Trust. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the CFO will have responsibility for all aspects of the MAT Trust finances. This is an integral role leading the finance and central service functions of the trust.

Delivering operational rigor and strategic direction the CFO will pro-actively work with the Executive Leadership Team in supporting the growth and development of LIPA Multi Academy Trust and ensure it continues to be financially sustainable. The CFO will drive internal excellence by providing strong financial leadership, guidance and stewardship as the Trust develops and expands.
