The opportunity

With a bright future ahead following our move to a state-of-the-art new campus in 2020, this is a unique opportunity to lead a globally recognised high-achieving school and play a pivotal part in its further development and growth.

The successful candidate will be a member of the College’s Leadership Group and will be responsible for the strategic development of the School. The individual will monitor the College Development Plan, ensuring that teaching and learning and the general education standards are of the highest level and be responsible for managing and leading the College’s non-teaching functions, ensuring that they effectively support the school in attaining its aims and objectives.

About you

The successful candidate will support the Principal and Board of Governors in further developing this leading British International School, committed to academic excellence within an anti-racist, diverse, inclusive and equitable organisation. Understanding cultural sensitivities within the Middle East is paramount to being successful in this role.

The Chief Operating Officer will exert a dynamic and seminal influence at every level, demonstrating leadership qualities of the highest order to ensure that students, through the high expectations they have of themselves, unlock their full potential.

Originally opened in 1980, the school continues to operate on a not-for-profit basis under the sponsorship of the British Embassy.
