We are seeking to recruit outstanding Child Pastoral Support Workers to join our team at Brixham site.
Child Pastoral Support Workers - (Chestnut Centre, Brixham)
Grade C point 10 – 13 £11,744 - £12,404 (actual pro rata salary) per annum or Grade D Point 14 -17 £12.622 – £13,368 (actual pro rata salary) depending on experience.
32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our team at our Chestnut Centre in Brixham which provides support to children at Key Stage 1 and 2 who are experiencing difficulties in maintaining a placement in mainstream school as a result of their social, emotional or behavioural needs.
The successful applicant will have proven experience of working with children with challenging and vulnerable behaviours and will be able to demonstrate commitment and expertise in improving educational and social outcomes for them. Knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience of supporting children with a range of interventions in literacy and numeracy is essential. Knowledge of Thrive would be a distinct advantage.
