Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra & Goulburn (CE) plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW, operating 56 Schools and 8 Early Learning Centres, with over 21,000 students and employing over 2,100 professionals.

The Child Protection Manager is responsible for delivering statutory child protection services including assessment, intervention, casework and case management in accordance with legislation, Catholic Education policy and practice guidelines. The successful applicant in this role has particular responsibility in coordinating the day to day management and expert and strategic level advice across CECG in the areas of child protection.

The Child Protection Manager is required to take responsibility for identifying and addressing areas of Child Protection high risk, and for delivering high quality and timely response to Child Protection related issues. Ideally, the preferred applicant will have expertise in Child Protection Investigations within the Education sector.

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with CEO policy.
