Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced and qualified Citizenship Teacher to join an all-girls school in the London Borough of Camden. The role is to teach Citizenship to KS4 classes and is full time. There may also be the opportunity to teach some KS3 Geography lessons as part of the timetable. This a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced Citizenship Teacher to be able to teach GCSE Level students in a school with a fabulous team spirit amongst the staff and that is well established in the local community. 

The role 

• Citizenship to KS4

• Geography to KS3 

• Full Time, one term temporary post

• All girls’ school 

• New building work completed last academic year giving a more modern site 

• Broad curriculum enabling students to build on academic achievements 

• Good Ofsted report 

• Successful and large sixth form on site 

• Gospel Oak / Tufnell Park are the nearest stations 

Requirements 

To be considered for the Citizenship Teacher position, you will have: 

• Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS  

• Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum 

• Overseas trained teachers are welcome to apply

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
