We are looking for an outstanding, inspirational and enthusiastic lecturer to join the successful Construction Department based at our Pagefield site. Applicants will be a qualified teacher, have a broad range of industry experience and possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
You will have excellent planning and organisational skills and be adept at teaching and enthusing 14-19 learners and adults.
A significantly high level of classroom management, communication and IT skills are essential for effective liaison with learners to successfully complete the course.
Applicants should be able to deliver on the majority of the following modules: L3 and L4 Science and Materials, L4 Structural and Analysis, L3 Construction in Civil Engineering, L4 Construction Technology, L5 Hydraulics.
Ability to deliver any of the following modules would also be an advantage:
•L3 Maths in Construction
•L4 Applied Maths
•L4 Permanent Way Construction (Railways)
