35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Scale 4, Point 18-21, £14,608 to £16,280 per annum (actual salary)

Immediate Start

The Northworthy Trust are inviting applications for the above posts based at Merrill Academy in Derby. The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable, and dedicated to providing a high level of cover support in all areas of the Academy. They will have strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative. They will be able to demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behavior, which are expected of students and establish a safe and supportive environment.

In addition, the applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of working in a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy secondary school environment. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science are essential.  Relevant professional qualifications and/or a First Aid qualification are desirable.
