Job overview

OBH is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed individual to the position of Class Room Assistant to work under the guidance of the Class Teacher in the planning and implementation of academic learning and pastoral care and other programmes/strategies with individuals, groups of pupils, or the whole class to promote effective teaching and learning. In class, to work with small groups and individual children on activities suitable for age and stage of the children. Old Buckenham Hall, commonly referred to as OBH, is a day and boarding prep school in rural Suffolk. The School educates children from 3 to 13 years on a beautiful 80-acre site, allowing OBH pupils the chance to thrive and develop through access to a huge range of opportunities, both academic, sport and co-curricular. Boarding is an integral part of OBH and, with over 80 children loving the benefits it offers, the successful applicant must share this ethos.

OBH has enjoyed an exciting evolution over time but retains a strong boarding ethos and sense of tradition. The school has gone from strength to strength in recent years and the Prep and Pre-Prep have been shortlisted for ‘Best of’ Awards in 2022.

Additional information about OBH can be found on the School’s website at www.obh.co.uk.
