Class Teacher and Member of SLT

The States of Guernsey are seeking to appoint a Class Teacher who will also become a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to join  Castel Primary School. You will be joining an enthusiastic and dedicated team. This is an exciting  opportunity to be part of a new leadership team and to support the development of the school.

The successful post holder will play a key strategic role in the success of the school, assisting the Headteacher in the leadership and management of the school in formulating and fulfilling the vision, aims and ethos of the school, establishing the policies of the school through which they are achieved, managing staff and resources and monitoring progress towards their achievement. The post holder will be expected to an excellent class teacher; initially the post will be in Key stage 1 and he/she will be expected to  lead a core subject throughout the school in negotiation with the Headteacher.
