Job overview

Class Teachers - MPS - Milefield Primary School

Full time

Permanent & Fixed Term posts available

Milefield Primary School is looking to recruit ambitious and inspirational teachers to further develop and enhance our current team and help to shape the lives of our amazing children.

If you are excited by innovation and challenge, and if you are energised by opportunities to develop and share your practice, whilst learning with your colleagues and from the children you work with, then we look forward to hearing from you.

Whilst we are not looking for any specific subject strength, we would support and develop any areas of expertise or interests which the candidate could bring to the role, to further enhance the curriculum and deliver quality teaching and learning. The CPD opportunities in the trust are exceptional and include year group network days, subject leader development days and one to one working with our directors of teaching and learning. This really is an incredible opportunity that would suit motivated and energetic individuals who are keen to develop practice within an exciting and engaging curriculum.

Over the last 18 months we have been working in partnership with HCAT (Hoyland Common Academy Trust) and are working alongside schools in the trust and like-minded professionals who share our ambitions to make this school the pride of Grimethorpe. We believe this is how schools should work together; supporting one another and engaging in locally arranged school-to-school support. In this way we can work to ensure that all children receive the best possible education and that educational underachievement across the region is effectively reduced.

Our most recent external review stated the following;

·        Pupils I spoke to stated that they like school and the subjects they are learning and the curriculum they cover.

·        All pupils would recommend the school to other children and families.

This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining our school team and we very much look forward to hearing from you as you take your application forward.

Given the current situation we are allowing visits only after school hours. There are 2 available dates in which to book a tour:

- Tuesday 23rd March 3.30pm

- Thursday 25th March 3.30pm

We are also available for a phone call discussion if you prefer.
