New exciting opportunity to teach in a brand new resource provision. Are you the inspirational primary school class teacher to come and join our highly motivated team?

Parkway Primary School is at present one form entry school with a provision for 40 children with MLD and an exciting brand new provision for 30 children with SLD about to open, serving a diverse community where children demonstrate outstanding behaviours for learning, and high levels of motivation. 

At Parkway, we enable all our children to be the best that they can be by providing them with curriculum opportunities that enable them to achieve and experience opportunities which may not be readily available outside of school. 

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks.

Further vetting checks including an enhanced DBS incorporating a check of the Children’s Barred List *delete where n/a, will be required on provisional offer.

This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. Parkway therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages
