Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and creative teacher who can ensure progress for all? We are seeking a talented and dynamic classroom practitioner to deliver high quality teaching and learning

Dulverton School has a very dedicated and supportive staff team who will welcome and encourage you.

At Dulverton, we offer a richness of curricular activities and aim to produce well-rounded young people with high academic standards. Therefore, we are a popular, over-subscribed two form entry (Group 3) school, with well-behaved, motivated children who are keen to learn; supported by committed Governors, parents/guardians and Friends Association (FODS.) We are an inclusive school and seek to look for the best in every child, helping them to reach their full potential.

We have very high expectations for learning and behaviour. Our most recent Ofsted report (5th March, 2013) stated: ‘Pupils are highly motivated and their attitudes towards learning are often exemplary’ and ‘teachers have high expectations and aim to bring out the best in pupils’.

The school is committed to Safeguarding/Child Protection and promoting the welfare of children; we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and other employment checks in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.
