Key responsibilities:
Planning and Preparation
Design effective learning sequences within lessons and across series of lessons informed by secure subject/curriculum knowledge.
Plan for progression across the age and ability range taught.
Have a flexible approach to planning and take advantage of learning opportunities that arise.
Teaching
Teach challenging, well-organised lessons and sequences of lessons across the age and ability range.
Have high expectations of students to ensure that they fully achieve their potential.
Make effective personalised provision for all students taking into account their diversity and promoting equality and inclusion in teaching.
Assessment, reporting and reviewing
Make effective use of the assessment, recording, reporting and reviewing systems in TBS.
Involve students in Assessment.
Know the assessment requirements and arrangements, including those related to external qualifications.
Requirements
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent) is essential.
Proven experience teaching Primary students, preferably in an international or bilingual context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
