About us

Quainton C of E Combined School is situated to the north of Aylesbury. It is a Church of England one form entry school for children aged 4 to 11. Situated in the centre of the village part of the school building dates back to Victorian times with modern additions for the classrooms.

As well as grounds which include a field for sport we have the use of an adjoining orchard, allowing for varied outdoor teaching and learning opportunities.

About the role

An exciting opportunity to make a real difference! Quainton C of E Combined School is a 1 form entry village school which was placed in a RI category in July 2017 by Ofsted. A great deal has happened to raise standards and support effective planning, teaching and learning.

The children are delightful, the parents engaged and very supportive, the governors involved, and the staff keen to continue improvements.

If you are an excellent teacher, ambitious, and not afraid of hard work, then this is your chance to join our passionate team.

Safeguarding Statement The health, safety and well-being of every child are of paramount concern to us. We listen to our children and take seriously what they tell us. All our staff and volunteers who work with children are subject to checks by the Disclosure and Barring Service as appropriate. On occasions, our concern about a child might mean that we consult other agencies, even before we contact the responsible adult with parental responsibility. The procedures which we follow have been laid down by the Buckinghamshire Area Child Protection Committee; the school has adopted a Child Protection Policy in line with for the safety of our children. We promote the British Values through daily acts of worship and throughout the curriculum: Tolerance of different faiths and beliefs; Democracy and the Rule of law; Individual Liberty and expect all members of our community to show care and consideration and to treat each other with respect.
