St. Paul’s is an oversubscribed one form entry school on the outskirts of Kingston with a passion for promoting a love of learning and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Following our ‘Outstanding’ grading in SIAMS and recent ‘Good’ grading in OFSTED, we are looking to build on our strong foundations and develop excellence in our teaching and all-round provision. We are looking to appoint someone with energy, enthusiasm, experience and a creative approach to teaching in order to ensure that our pupils continue to benefit from an increasingly exciting and enriched curriculum. Key responsibilities: • to be class teacher with all the responsibilities therein • to be confident in following, adapting, teaching and assessing in all aspects of the National Curriculum • to contribute to the wider school community through involvement in fund raising activities, school community events and the provision of an enriched curriculum

  The ideal candidate will: • have qualified teacher status • demonstrate an ability to affirm and develop the Christian ethos of the school • have the vision, energy, drive and skill to engage and enthuse pupils • be an excellent classroom practitioner •be a willing and supportive team-player • have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behavior • understand the importance and promote the principles of inclusion A passion for sport and an interest in leading PE would be an advantage but not essential
