Teachers are encouraged to take advantage of a wide range of high quality professional learning opportunities: the school is part of a highly effective Umbrella Trust, takes part in action research and offers excellent in house CPD and opportunities to lead this. The school is part of the European Erasmus project, learning from best practice in week-long exchanges with European schools, and is in partnership with the Institute of Education collaborating on research projects. The school also supports other schools within the borough and diocese, developing teaching and learning, with opportunities for subject leadership and secondment.  

For ECTs, we are willing to discuss paying over August as we recognise the issues new teachers face when preparing for a new role whilst having to work and find accommodation over the summer holidays.
