Job overview

We are a thriving community school based in Queen's Road, Walthamstow. At Edinburgh, we are passionate about the arts and make this a part of our commitment alongside outstanding teaching and learning-delivered through our unique and immersive, project-led curriculum.

Edinburgh has always been a very creative school that recognises the importance of the arts as a way of enabling children to express themselves in a range of ways, increase self-esteem, develop resilience and more importantly find enjoyment from a hobby.

We are seeking candidates for a 1 year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave from September 2023. We welcome both ECTs and experienced teachers. If you are an ECT, we will support you and will provide a first-class training program. You will have a fully trained mentor who will be an outstanding teacher and will support you every step of the way in your development.

If you are a more experienced teacher looking for a school with the potential for career development/leadership roles, please do get in touch. We have an experienced team and welcome applications from candidates who are passionate about learning.

Edinburgh Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any offer of employment will be subject to receipt of a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure and acceptable references.
