Class Teachers for Primary Section

Tallinn European School (TES) is part of the network of European Schools, currently located in the IT hub of Estonia with a new building under construction. We offer the full European Schools Curriculum (from nursery 1 – Secondary 7) which leads to the European Baccalaureate Certificate at the end of secondary 7. TES emphasizes a holistic approach to education at the heart of which is inquiry based teaching and learning. The primary section offers education in English and pupils can chose between French or German as language 2 from primary 1 onwards. Pupils also have an option of choosing their mother tongue (One of the official EU languages) as language 1 while the rest of the curriculum is delivered in English. The secondary curriculum is delivered in English and supplemented by a strong language 2 programme with a third language chosen from secondary 1. The opening of a French section is planned for the 2018/19 school year.

Tallinn European School (TES) is now recruiting enthusiastic and committed teachers for the above positions for the school year beginning August 2017:

  • Relevant teaching experience at primary school level.
  • A commitment to student centred inquiry based learning.
  • Experience as class teacher essential for primary class teacher positions.
  • Additional European language and advantage but not essential
  • Flexibility to co-teach with a content subject or English teacher if required.

Brand  New Facilities: 

We are currently located in Keevise  2, in the IT Hub of Tallinn. We have outgrown our current school premises and will move to a newly renovated historical building in the center of the city with good connections for public transport with trains, buses and trolley buses and the world famous historical Old Town of Tallinn just a few minutes walk away.
