Full Time

Le Murier School is thrilled to announce that we are looking to welcome two passionate and dedicated class teachers to our team, starting from 1 September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

If you are a well-qualified educator with a genuine enthusiasm for making a difference, we invite you to join us in supporting our wonderful students. Le Murier School is supports a diverse range of students with varying learning difficulties, including those with moderate, significant and profound challenges.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have a solid understanding and experience in working with students with communication needs, social and emotional difficulties, and those with trauma informed backgrounds. There may also be the possibility of a management point for the suitable candidate.

Le Murier is an 11-19 ALN School. Our curriculum pathways (formal, semi-formal and pastoral) are designed to meet the diverse needs of our learners, ensuring each student can access the right level of support and challenge. These pathways provide personalised learning experiences that allow students to enjoy their education, grow in confidence and skills, achieve their individual goals, and work together to build positive social and emotional connections.

At Le Murier, you will have the chance to inspire and empower our pupils, helping them to thrive in a nurturing and inclusive environment. If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey with us, we would love to hear from you!

This role comes with a competitive salary, progressive annual leave and entitlement to a pension scheme.

For candidates who would be required to relocate to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, we also offer a relocation package to help with the cost of moving over to the Island. This relocation package offers different solutions depending on an individual’s circumstances.

More detailed information can be found in the Relocation Directive below.

This role offers off-Island candidates an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit (see details below). This permit will also enable candidates to bring immediate family members with them who will be permitted to work on the Island in any sector. There are also good schools on Island for those candidates looking to bring their families with them.
