About the Crawley Cluster

Consisting of four schools, the Crawley cluster have a collaborative approach towards working, which means the schools work closely together to provide an outstanding educational experience to the local communities enabling children to 'grow, learn and flourish'. The schools’ benefit from being able to share resources, knowledge and best practise to support each other and maintain high quality teaching. 

Each school has a Head of School and are led by an Executive Headteacher, who oversees the four schools in the Crawley Cluster.

  • Kilnwood Vale School is a growing two form entry primary school, which opened its doors to reception and nursery children for the first time in September 2019. 
  • Greenway School is a four-form entry Junior School in Horsham, recently joning the GLF Academy in September 2022.
  • Forgewood School is recognised by Ofsted as an outstanding school 'providing inspirational leadership for this happy, inclusive and hard-working school'
  • Southgate School is an improving school situated in the heart of the Crawley Community.

We are a brand new two form entry primary school which opened its doors to reception and nursery children for the first time in September 2019. Each year the school will increase its age range, adding an additional year group until it is an all through primary school in 2026.

We are proud of our school and the amazing facilities, inside and outside the classroom that will allow us to deliver our exciting and enriching curriculum.

We are happy to be a Free School within GLF Schools Multi Academy Trust, which sees us benefit from sharing outstanding resources, facilities and support from local primary and secondary schools since October 2010. We also believe in working closely with the local community to ensure school is a place where 'children grow, learn and flourish'.
