The Elms, established in 1999 as the Junior School to Trent College (11 – 18 co-educational HMC School), is a thriving independent school located in Long Eaton and has grown to its present size of around 450, including children in the Pre-School and Nursery.
We are seeking an ambitious, talented and enthusiastic teacher to join our team (initially for one year) to teach English, maths and humanities to a class of 20 junior aged pupils. Other subjects are taught by specialist teachers and we welcome teachers with different curriculum strengths to contribute to the full life of our school, including the extensive extra-curricular programme. This post is suitable for NQTs and RQTs as we have a full recognised induction programme.
Salary is paid above the Main Pay Grade for qualified teachers and staff benefit from fee discount for children attending the school and use of the school’s excellent dining and sports facilities.
