Values and Vision

Lime Tree Primary is a sustainable school. It believes that education is the key to a long, happy and healthy life. The school promotes sustainability, well-being, lifelong learning and an active lifestyle. Lime Tree Primary strives to help children to develop flexibility, curiosity and problem-solving skills as well as building their confidence to take risks and to have a go.

Ofsted

“Over the course of Year 1, many pupils continue to make good progress in reading, writing and mathematics. As a result, pupils are working at higher levels than might be expected for their age. The school’s structured approach to developing reading, through phonics (letters and the sounds they make), is having a positive impact on pupils’ reading, which is secure across the school. Volunteers support children’s good reading, ensuring they read widely and often.”
